A long awaited ruling from PERB (Public Employment Relations Board) is official. UCS was found in violation of the Public Employees’ Fair Employment Act, specifically § 209-a.1(d), and ordered that, among other things, UCS cease and desist from unilaterally imposing procedures that employees must follow in order to be tested or vaccinated for COVID-19, and make whole the [bargaining unit] employees who lost accrued leave, compensation or employment as a result of the implementation of the Policies.
This decision and order by Administrative Law Judge, Mariam Manichaikul.
